Key updates: 29th March 2021

  • Outdoor group training returns

  • Personal training outdoors continues

  • Online group training continues

Outdoor group training is back from 29th March 2021

Following the Government's announcement on 22 February 2021, we can confirm from 29 March 2021 some of our outdoor group training will be returning.

The government guidance clearly states “Outdoor sports facilities, such as tennis and basketball courts, and open-air swimming pools, will also be allowed to reopen, and people will be able to take part in formally organised outdoor sports”. Organised outdoor sports for both adults and children will also be able to resume with any numbers.

To reiterate the importance of both movement and interaction; the Prime Minister stated “Outdoor activity will be prioritised as the best way to restore freedoms while minimising the risk”.

As you know, we have and will continue to prioritise our members health and safety. Our online booking system allows ease of number control and detailed session plans allow for the use of equipment in a covid secure manner. Hand sanitiser and cleaning equipment will continue to be made available, and we encourage you to use this at the beginning and end of every session, as we all persist in playing our part at reducing transmission. Previously, we have had no cases of COVID linked to Caveman Conditioning®, and whilst this may be due to good fortune - we know that both stringent measures, and your efforts validate the safety of how we operate, and will ensure

To this extent CAVEMAN CONDITIONING, LIFT, STRONG, LIFT PRO, RUN, RUN STRENGTH, and PERSONAL/ SMALL GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING will return on March 29th. We will continue to provide our online sessions for you. We are reviewing the possibilities of carrying out further options in an outdoor environment and updates will be provided as these options develop.

The FIVE Cave commandments:

1. Don’t arrive unless you are symptom free

2. Complete your COVID SCREENING FORM before you first session

3. Keep 2m distance from others

4. Wash your hands thoroughly and regularly

5. Pre-book all of your sessions

Your safety is our number 1 priority. Find out what we're doing to keep you safe:

What we're doing

The wellbeing and safety of our community has always been a priority, for us and we will continue to ensure we provide a safe, and COVID SECURE environment for our members, the team, as well as the public. That’s why we’ve introduced new clearing, hygiene, and social distancing measures which have been advised by Public Health England.

Health and safety assessment

Each site has its own independent risk assessment which has been declared safe by the local authorities, enabling us to create a COVID SECURE environment.

Social distancing

A minimum of 2 metres apart policy will be enforced at all times.

Managing groups

We are insistent all sessions require pre-booking so that we can manage who’s attending, as well as adhering to the appropriate social distancing and gathering sizes.

Cleaning and hygiene

Aside from everyone sanitising their hands upon entry, we are providing additional cleaning products to wash hands, and clean equipment.

Equipment

All equipment will be cleaned and sanitised before you use them.

Ventilation

All sessions will take place outdoors in the fresh air.

Play your part to keep everyone safe

The hand wash warm up

A mandatory hand wash with antibacterial gel upon arrival will be necessary.

Travel Light

We don’t have anywhere to store any bags, or unnecessary items, so please have a think about what you need as you will have to keep these with you at all times. We encourage you to bring a drinks bottle, but do not bring bags, towels, or any excess items.

Arrive in good time

We ask you to arrive 5 minutes before the session begins, but no earlier.

Filter in and follow the one way

All sessions will have a clearly marked one-way system which will guide you to filter into the training area (your coach will assist you with upon arrival).

Get comfy

You will need to remain in your designated space for the entire duration of the session until you are instructed to leave.

Wipe down afterwards

When using equipment which is not your own you will be issued with the correct cleaning materials to sanitise any equipment you have used before you leave the session.

Au Revoir

Your coach will let you know when the session is finished, and we would ask that you do not create gatherings and always maintain safe social distancing from one another. We’re saving the fist pumps with a no contact policy.

Teamwork

Success during this difficult period requires support from us all in society. Rest assured we will continue to monitor the situation as closely as possible, so that we can continue to provide the safest environment for you and your family during this time.

We thank you for your support and cooperation.
